Carla takes an osteopathic approach to how she treats as an RMT. She uses a thorough assessment and clinical history to find the primary areas of dysfunction in the body, as opposed to focusing just on symptomatic areas. She then chooses the appropriate techniques from her toolbox of visceral manipulation, craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, muscle energy technique, active stretching and conventional massage techniques to address what has been discovered during assessment.

Carla has a general practice that can address a variety of issues from back pain and whiplash, to digestive issues and headaches. She has a keen interest in working with women’s health, including during the pre- and post-natal periods.

Carla is very excited to be living in the Comox Valley! In her spare time you can find her paddling her kayak on both ocean and lake, hiking the local trails, growing food on her patio or curled up reading a novel in her favourite armchair.
